At OSGADE we are dedicated to the welfare of children and adolescents at risk, following the guidelines of the Política Nacional de Assistência Social. That is why we are committed to the following points:

 

1. Goals

Providing basic social protection for families, individuals and groups in need.

 

2. Means

It is our public duty as citizens to help people, who are affected by social disadvantages. We offer assistence to those, who face domestic violence, stigmatization in ethnic, cultural and sexual terms, the loss of loved ones, social instability and poverty. These people are often denied access to public policies as for example education and healthcare.
 

3. Social Assistance

Through our work we aim to improve the life of children and adolescents by fostering personal development as well as building strong family and community ties. It is a great relief for parents to know that their children are in good hands, while they are working. At our organization the children have the opportunity to engage in different activities like sports, dancing, playing instruments and other creative work.
